What is Christianity Explored?
Christianity Explored is an informal and relaxed seven week course. It’s for anyone who wants to think about what Christianity says about the meaning of life. It’s designed to help you explore the big issues we all think about. It’s run by ordinary people, and looks at the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ.
You can ask any questions you want and meet people on a similar journey to you.
What happens at Christianity Explored?
There will be about six to twelve people in the group with a mix of ages. We look at a bit of the Bible, considering what it says about Jesus Christ. We watch a short DVD focusing on a part of Jesus’ life and have a time for discussion. You can say as much or as little as you like. And don’t worry – you won’t be asked to sing, pray or read aloud. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible either. We’ll give you a course booklet and a printed copy of the Gospel of Mark for you to read between sessions.
When does it start?
Our last course finished on 9th June 2024.
Last time we had sessions at 4 p.m. on three Sundays in the month, but exact dates and times depends on those interested in attending. Each session lasts around 90 minutes.
Can I join the course?
It’s free and you can drop out at any time if you find it’s not for you. If you are interested in coming to the next course, let us know so that we can contact you when we have the dates arranged.
