Each year during July/August, we take a group of young people aged 11+ to Oasis Camp. It is held at Ackworth School, Pontefract in West Yorkshire and it is an independent boarding and day school. Camp is a super time for our youth, with games, competitions, relaxation, laughs and a time away from home. Within the grounds there are tennis courts, a swimming pool, astro turf and football pitches. The week is fully organised by a dedicated team of church leaders (all who hold current DBS certificates) who take time off work to give the youngsters a memorable week away.
To be eligible for Oasis Camp, the youth must attend any of our weekly activities at Southcrest Church, on a regular basis.
